Yoga appears to be all the rage. There are yoga pants, yoga mats and yoga poses. Many people use yoga to stretch and relax, I however choose a different exercise known ad tai chi. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art. Tai chi can be helpful exercise for those afflicted with arthritis or an injury. I found this exercise beneficial when I recovered from a fractured femur. The stretches are not as difficult as yoga and can also lower blood pressure and heart rate. It also aids in relaxation and calming.
